Emma is not only my actual hairstylist but also a very good friend of mine so it was a no brainer when it came to who I would choose to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. The question was, is she already booked.....thank god she wasn't because we would have had to change our wedding date! 

I can not say enough nice things about Emma Woods, she is professional, super talented, eager to please, easily reached, responds quickly, flexible, and overall an incredible person and makeup artist/hairstylist!!!!!!!! She did my makeup and hair for our engagement shoot and for our wedding. I have never in my life received sooooooo many compliments! She did two different looks for each and nailed both! My photos turned out great and she truly listened to what I wanted and made it happen :)

Emma and her team are AMAZING! They arrived early, and were able to quickly set up with the small space we had available in our hotel room. They did a FANTASTIC job on me, my mom, my aunt and all the bridesmaids. We all had a perfect natural look, which was exactly what we wanted. My hair and makeup lasted all night! Emma was tasked with finishing 11 girls hair and makeup before 10:30am. So as you can imagine, she was quick but still great! Prior to the wedding, she worked with me to make sure we had a schedule all set to go and that I was comfortable with how the day would run. Besides her amazing talents, Emma is professional, reliable and a lot of fun to be around. I highly highly recommend her for any event.

Emma and I have known each other for a couple years now.  I knew in the back of my head that I wanted to have her be my beauty team the moment I got engaged.  My husband (fiancé at the time) and  I decided to hold our big day in Southern California and when I told Emma that, she  did not hesitate at all and told us that she would love to travel for us!  Emma arrived right on time and had her station all set up and ready to go.  She is so good at what she does and you can see her love and passion for her job just by talking to her!  I felt so beautiful  that day.  There were no flaws with my make-up and my hair was perfection.  I was very hesitant to wear airbrush make up because I wear very little make up on a day to day basis.  In the past, airbrush felt cakey but when Emma did my make-up, she made it natural and flawless looking.  My hair turned out great as well! I did a 1920 wave to the side and it held perfectly.  I am so happy to have had Emma be a part of my big day and I would recommend her to everyone! 

I went and got my hair done by Emma Woods this Saturday and I am SO happy with the whole experience. The salon is adorable, clean, and plays awesome music. This was my first time meeting Emma so we immediately sat down and talked about how I do my hair, what I want right now, what I want in the future, any issues I have, etc. She took her time understanding exactly what I wanted in my hair and I immediately felt comfortable. We talked the entire time and the whole process (cut and partial highlight/lowlight) went by really quickly. Once she finished my color and cut she blow dried the front of my hair and asked if I was happy with the color. Of course, I loved it but I thought it was great of her to ensure I was happy with my hair. She even curled it for me because it was my birthday. She has a great referral program and she does AWESOME color. My sister saw my hair after and immediately called and booked an appointment. I have never been so happy with my hair and I can't wait to go back to her. (Yelp Review)

I have been visiting Emma for all of my hair and makeup needs-- bridal, bridesmaid, rehearsal dinner, engagement party-- and love to refer friends (and brides)! Emma is dedicated to quality consultations and extraordinary customer service to ensure her clients walk away not just satisfied, but feeling beautiful on their big day! Not only does Emma do phenomenal work, but her heart of gold and sparkling personality will wow you! I can't recommend her highly enough!

Emma was amazing! She went above and beyond, from helping me put my shoes on to making sure no guests saw me before the ceremony. She is so talented with hair and make up. She airbrushed my make up on so it looked fantastic all night. All my bridesmaids were impressed and said they would totally go back to her again. 5 stars all the way!!!

You and your team were truly one of the best parts of the day. You were early, super professional, patient, and fun. WONDERFUL group. As for the makeup . . . also perfect (and hair). I cried a tiny bit at the speeches I think, and my makeup withstood the whole night. It also withstood getting cake in my face! I was actually sad I had to take it off cause it still looked so great. All of the girls loved their makeup too and it also lasted. Jenny (Dave's sister) cried and her makeup still looked good. My mom as well! We all loved our makeup so much and literally STILL talk about how perfect it was (and how we wish you could follow us around and do our hair & makeup every day!). Also, you girls were able to accommodate all of our different skin tones and needs. Bekah is super fair and usually can't wear a lot of makeup, and she looked flawless. The only thing I had to touch up was my lipstick (which is to be expected). I put together some pics if you want to share them with her. It shows off your handiwork :)

Emma and her team worked my wedding and my cousins wedding. I felt like everyone looked like a million bucks... from the mother of the bride and groom to the bridesmaids. As far as my wedding goes I never felt more beautiful. She did an amazing job matching my hair withextensions and my makeup was flawless. Every bride should feel like their most beautiful self on her wedding day and with Emma and her team that's exactly how you'll feel.

Emma was AMAZING. She was helpful from start to finish with my hair/makeup trial on the day of my bridal shower, working with me through haircuts leading up to my wedding (just to make sure it would look perfect), traveling to my wedding in Tahoe. She even checked up on my groom and the rest of the guys to make sure that hair and mustache's were all in check. She has an upbeat personality and is a joy to have in the room as you are getting ready for your big day. I would recommend her to everyone!
